1 PROFESSOR (ASSISTANT, ASSOCIATE OR FULL) in Supply Chain Management (Lille Campus)

In response to its continuous growth, IÉSEG School of Management is looking for a full-time professor in supply chain management at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level (Lille Campus, starting September 2024). Candidates with research and teaching experience/ interest in sustainable operations management, or digitalization in the supply chain are particularly encouraged to apply. He/She/They will be a part of the Department of “Operations Management”.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Operations Management department consists of 14 full-time academic staff and 5 PhD students. Our staff teach and conduct research in the areas of Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Management, Project Management, Product Development and Revenue Management. Our diverse body of permanent professors have recently published articles in in top-tier refereed international journals such as (amongst others): European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management. ABOUT THE POSITION

Teaching will be the main focus of the selected candidate by teaching courses in supply chain management at the undergraduate, graduate and/or postgraduate level. In addition, he/she/they will contribute to the development of the Department’s programs. As such, we are looking for candidates with strong teaching skills, and who are fluent in English, as most courses are taught in this language. Professional experience and knowledge of French are a plus, but not a requirement.

With regards to research, the selected candidate will contribute to the vibrant research community at IESEG through their research. He/she/they is therefore expected to hold a PhD, have a publication record (or potential for Assistant Professors) in peer-reviewed journals, as well as a good international network.
