Assistant or Associate Professor in Strategy

The School of Management at Universidad de los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia) seeks applications to fill one full-time position at the assistant or associate level to strengthen its Strategy and Entrepreneurship academic area and make significant contributions to the group's research, applied projects and teaching activities. The School provides conference and research funding, an initial teaching load reduction for junior researchers, and a vibrant cultural environment.

Job qualifications

Candidates must have earned a PhD degree (or be near completion) in strategy, international management, entrepreneurship, innovation management or related disciplines. They are expected to show a clear commitment to research and actively contribute to the design, delivery and assessment of courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. While the focus of the position will be on research and teaching, candidates are also expected to demonstrate an interest in evolving its career towards Executive Education and consultancy activities.

The School welcomes applicants with specific academic interests in strategy, innovation and international business. Teaching activities involve, among others, courses on Strategy, Entrepreneurship, International Business, and Business environment.

Preference will be given to candidates with a record of publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals and the desire to shape the development of a successful and fast-growing School of Management.
