Associate or Full Professorship in Microeconomics (100%)

The University of St.Gallen and its School of Economics and Political Science invite applications for an Associate Professorship or Full Professorship (open rank) in the field of Microeconomics, ideally with a focus on behavioural economics. Candidates are expected to have a strong track record of internationally recognized research in leading general interest or field journals.

Successful candidates will be actively engaged in teaching Microeconomics courses across all levels in our programmes. Therefore, excellent teaching skills are essential. We are looking for a candidate with a commitment to academic leadership and citizenship. Candidates should possess formidable skills to actively contribute to public discourse and engage in outreach activities. Experience in the acquisition of third-party funding is a plus. Successful candidates are invited to acquire a passive knowledge of the German language within two years.
