Assistant or Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship

Job Qualifications:

The School of Management at Universidad de los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia) seeks applications to fill several full-time positions at the assistant or associate professor level in Entrepreneurship. Preference will be given to faculty with a strong commitment to research in this field, demonstrated by a record of publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals, and to those who demonstrate interest in engaging in the design, delivery, and assessment of courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. This call will prioritize candidates with solid research in innovation-driven entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial ecosystems, entrepreneurial mindset, social capital, decision-making, process and scaling. According to the candidate’s qualifications, we will consider other fields such as innovation management, regional development, small business and other related areas.

Aspiring junior researchers must have earned a Ph.D. degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or other related fields, or be near completion of the Ph.D., and have a demonstrated record of publications in quality peer-reviewed journals. We are also open to successful mid-career candidates who could qualify for the level of Associate Professor. Entrepreneurial experience and a relevant professional network will be a plus.

We are interested in candidates with:

• A Ph.D. - completed or near completion in the field of finance, economics, management, business, or related fields.
• A desire and aptitude to contribute to a successful and fast-growing educational establishment.
• Potential for research and publication in international peer-reviewed journals
• An ability to contribute to different undergraduate and graduate programs
