SKEMA Business School (https://www.skema.edu/) invites applications for a position at associate or full professor level, in the Operations Management and Artificial Intelligence, to begin August 2024. The successful candidate will develop and/or lead academic research projects with the aim of publishing in the field's highest quality journals.

Expectations :

The candidate will be expected to : produce excellent research; teach undergraduate and/or graduate level courses in Operations Management; contribute to student mentorship; and participate in projects related to the SKEMA SKY25 corporate strategy; Publish qualitatively and quantitatively in peer-reviewed journals (according to the SKEMA journal ranking list); teach and develop new courses at different levels in Operations Management; supervise students at different levels (undergraduate, master…); participate in the student selection process; be a good academic citizen / Commit to the life of the institution and contribute to projects related to the school strategy.

The position is permanent with a full-time contract. Salary and conditions are competitive, in line with international standards. SKEMA Business School offers publication bonuses for peer-reviewed publications. The language of work and teaching is English. Knowledge of French is not required, and is not a criterion for selection. SKEMA Business School offers support in learning French.

Qualifications must include :

• A Ph.D. in Operations Management or related field.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a collegial environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to service and/or outreach activities.

ABOUT RESEARCH

The Centre for Research in Analytics and Management Science comprises researchers from different research fields (information systems, knowledge management, law, project management, statistics, supply chain, procurement, operations, applied mathematics, etc.) and different research methodologies (mathematical modeling, empirical and statistical inference methods, grounded methods, qualitative research, rheology, etc.). Researchers advance the state-of-the-art to help managers improve the performance of their firms using analytics, data science, mathematical modelling, operations research, project management, and computational science. Researchers' mission is also to educate students and to assist faculty members in understanding and applying advanced techniques in management of organizations related to functional areas of business, such as accounting, finance, marketing, law, and operations.
