Your role
As a tenure-track assistant professor of supply chain management (SCM) in the department of Technology and Operations Management (TOM) at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM), you’ll be working in a research-led business school. The expertise of our SCM section is broad yet concentrated on the processes of global logistics, sourcing, facility logistics and distribution, and addresses topics such as sustainability, digitalisation, analytics, and behavioural aspects. In education, we contribute to pre-experience and post-experience programs, including specialised MSc programs in Supply Chain Management and in Business Analytics & Management. Our research combines analytical and data-driven methods and is often carried out in collaboration with (inter)national partners. We value engagement with practitioners, policy makers and other societal stakeholders to support RSM's mission to be a force for positive change.

The conditions of employment correspond with the collective labour agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO NU).
Salary is subject to training and experience and may vary from a minimum of € 5,247 (scale 11.6 CAO NU) and up to a maximum of € 5,929 gross per month (scale 11.11 CAO NU), based on a full-time contract of 38 hours.
Erasmus University has attractive employment conditions, which include structurally both a holiday allowance of 8 per cent, an end-of-year bonus of 8.3 per cent of the base annual salary, and a considerate amount of vacation days.
