Assistant / Associate / Full Professor in Finance at ESSCA Luxembourg Campus

Founded in 1909, ESSCA is an internationally accredited business school (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) located on 10 campuses: Angers, Aix-en-Provence, Bordeaux, Budapest, Lyon, Paris, Shanghai, Strasbourg, and, from summer 2023, Luxembourg and Malaga. The school offers a wide range of programmes including undergraduate, integrated masters, MSc, and executive programmes.

ESSCA’s Finance, Accounting, and Management Control (FAMC) Academic Department is seeking an Assistant, an Associate, or a Full Professor in Finance for its Luxembourg Campus.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join the department who can make a significant contribution to our research and teaching strategy. The department has over 45 academic staff, present on all ESSCA's French campuses, and focuses its work on the fields of Corporate Finance, and Accounting. This post also offers an exciting opportunity to add to the development and growth of our new Luxembourg campus.

The position is open to candidates with a high potential for, or a significant record of, academic publications in peer reviewed journals.

Requirements for the position include:

  • a PhD in Finance or Accounting,
  • a proven track record of teaching, academic programme management, and an innovative, applied research agenda,
  • strong communication skills, including the ability to teach in English and French to a variety of student audiences,
  • the ability to work as part of a team.

Interest in the areas of Corporate Finance, International Accounting, will be an advantage, and prior experience in program development and management would also be highly beneficial.
