SKEMA Business School (https://www.skema.edu/) invites applications for a position of Programme Director of the MSc in Strategic Management Consulting, to begin as soon as possible. The successful candidate will collaborate with world-leading faculty, programmes (as part of a very dynamic MSc programme directors team), and other relevant internal and external stakeholders to successfully manage the programme and position it internationally as a leading programme in strategic management consulting.

The MSc in Strategic Management & Consulting prepares participants to join major strategy consulting firms as well as the strategy departments of the largest companies worldwide. Participants will have the opportunity to develop and enhance their strategic thinking, analytical skills, quantitative approach, and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, the programme focuses on improving presentation, communication, and social skills, which are essential for working effectively in a consulting team within corporate strategy. The programme is highly selective and demanding, as it is designed to align with the needs and requirements of top consulting firms for their recruitment processes.

The candidate will be expected to:

• manage the programme on a day-to-day basis.
• deliver courses in the field of specialisation.
• engage in developing and managing the curriculum.
• participate in the students’ selection process.
• identify, recruit and manage external lecturers, in collaboration with Faculty Management.
• contribute to the strategy, visibility and reputation of the programme, towards the major consulting firms and other stakeholders.
• develop partnerships with top consulting firms, in collaboration with Corporate Relations.
• lead and facilitate the programme’s advisory board.
• manage compliance with relevant quality assurance and accreditation standards and contribute to positioning the programme in international rankings.
• participate to enhance students’ employability.
• participate in projects related to the SKEMA corporate strategy.
• be a good academic citizen / commit to the life of the institution.

The position is permanent with a full-time or part-time contract. Salary and conditions are competitive, in line with international standards. The language of work and teaching is English. Knowledge of French is not required and is not a criterion for selection. SKEMA Business School offers support in learning French.

Qualifications must include:

• A doctoral degree in strategy or a related field.
• Relevant program or academic management experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to sustainably develop and implement programme strategies.
• Intellectual contributions, publications in the field.
• Commitment to service and/or outreach activities.
