Audencia (https://www.audencia.com) invites applications for a position as Assistant or Associate Professor in Information Systems. The position is for a full-time, non-fixed term contract and is based in Nantes.

Position requirements

We are looking for applicants specialized in Information Systems. Area of expertise should cover Digital Transformation and Data Analytics. Ability to teach Project Management would be appreciated but is not mandatory. Applicants shall hold a Ph.D. This position focuses on teaching and program development. Intellectual contributions primarily include producing teaching material such as business cases, still research is strongly encouraged and supported.

Successful candidate shall be able to demonstrate their ability to teach effectively. The teaching associated with the position will be in English, at undergraduate, graduate and executive education levels. Previous teaching experience in English is mandatory. French would be a plus.

Position overview

The new faculty member will join our Department of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management. The department consists of 17 permanent faculty members, 10 of which have a research profile.

The faculty’s recent publications in IS include articles in the Journal of Information Technology, Information and Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology, The Journal of Trading, International Journal of Information Management…Courses topics in IS include Introduction to Technologies and IS, Data Analytics, Cyber Security, Mathematical Tools, Big Data Management, Strategic Information Systems, VBA …

Environment

The school has campuses in France and abroad. This position is primarily for the Nantes campus, however some courses might be taught on the Paris campus.
