About the positions

As NEOMA Business School continues its trajectory of growth and innovation, we are hiring dynamic, full-time, permanent faculty to join our Finance department. NEOMA is dedicated to developing global business leaders through impactful research, innovative pedagogy, and close collaboration with companies and industry partners.

We are looking for candidates primarily in the following areas (in order of flexible priority): Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions / Private Equity, and Asset Management. We also welcome strong candidates in Economics. Experience in coordinating master’s or bachelor’s programs is a meaningful plus.

Positions are based on the Rouen or Reims campus, both within easy reach of Paris and the rest of Europe.

Data access is central to finance research, and NEOMA invests accordingly. Our faculty have access to one of the broadest data portfolios at any European business school, with research-platform and terminal access covering US and global equity prices and returns, firm fundamentals and executive compensation, corporate bond and fixed-income data, M&A, private equity, venture capital and hedge fund transaction and fund-level data, listed and private company financials with ownership and governance information, real-time market data, ESG and reputational-risk metrics, and country- and industry-level market intelligence. This is complemented by comprehensive access to academic journals, working-paper repositories, and bibliometric tools.

Each faculty member also receives a dedicated individual research budget, giving researchers direct control over conference travel, data purchases, software, and other research expenses—supported in turn by two experimental behavioral labs, grant development assistance, and dedicated editorial support.

We are looking for dynamic, high-potential candidates who: 

• hold a PhD (or are nearing completion) from an internationally recognized institution;
• are passionate about impactful research and have a publication record (or strong publication potential) in top international peer-reviewed journals;
• are passionate about disseminating knowledge that empowers students and executives in today’s rapidly changing business environment;
• embrace innovative teaching methods, with the ability to deliver courses in English (French proficiency is not required but appreciated);
• commit to interdisciplinary collaboration, fostering research that addresses global challenges like sustainability, AI, and diversity;
• have a proactive and collegial attitude toward their colleagues, department, and the school.

The application package consists of a cover letter, CV, names of three referees (actual letters of recommendation are not mandatory, but appreciated), job market paper (i.e., an unpublished paper showcasing the quality of your research), representative publications and/or working papers (if available and optional - with a maximum of three), and recent teaching evaluations (if available). Additional elements such as a research statement, teaching statement, and any evidence of service to the research, academic, and/or business community can also be included with your application.
