SKEMA Business School (https://www.skema.edu/) is seeking candidates for an Associate Professor role in Management. Selected candidates will be responsible for delivering courses and engaging in academic activities for SKEMA China and primarily for the International Joint Audit Institute including but not limited to designing and delivering courses in Management, equipping students with the essential theoretical knowledge, skills, and competencies needed for academic and professional success. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with internationally recognized faculty, academic programs, and various internal and external partners to advance the development of SKEMA programs in China.

The position is permanent with a full-time contract. Salary and conditions are competitive, in line with international standards. SKEMA Business School offers publication bonuses for peer-reviewed publications. The language of work and teaching is English. Knowledge of French is not required and is not a criterion for selection. SKEMA Business School offers support in learning French.

Qualifications must include :

• A doctoral degree in Management or a related field.
• Relevant experience in higher education in an international environment.
• Relevant teaching experience in Management with a strong focus on excellence in pedagogy and successful curriculum development.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to sustainably develop and implement curriculum in various programmes.
• Consistent ability to produce intellectual contributions in the respective specialisation.
• Commitment to service and/or outreach activities.

Expectations :

• Deliver quality courses at different academic levels, in a multi-cultural and international environment. Courses primarily take place in Nanjing, but also on the Suzhou campus.
• Incorporate a competence-oriented approach throughout the Management courses.
• In accordance with the educational approaches embraced in the program, design innovative pedagogical content using a variety of resources.
• Contribute to the local development of programmes, in cooperation with the Academic and Programme Management.
• Connect internationally and create an international community based on SKEMA footprint.

ABOUT INTERNATIONAL JOINT AUDIT INSTITUTE

The International Joint Audit Institute (IJAI) of Nanjing Audit University was approved by the Ministry of Education in 2020 and jointly established in the same year with SKEMA Business School. Leveraging the complementary strengths of both institutions, the Institute is dedicated to cultivating high-caliber talents with global vision and cross-cultural competence. IJAI currently offers four undergraduate specializations: Internal Auditing, Financial Auditing, Big Data Auditing, and Engineering Auditing.

Since 2024, the Institute has launched application-based international master’s programs, including the MSc Auditing, Management and the MSc Corporate Financial Management, jointly delivered by both institutions, with students registered at SKEMA and supported by an internationalized teaching environment.
