OPEN POSITION – MBA Associate Program Director

In view of its continuous growth and strategic development of its graduate portfolio, the International University of Monaco (IUM) invites applications for the position of MBA Associate Program Director.

About the Position

The MBA Associate Program Director provides strategic leadership, academic oversight, and administrative management for the AMBA-accredited Master of Business Administration (MBA) at IUM. Working closely with the Program Director, the position holder ensures the continued excellence, innovation, and international visibility of the program, in full alignment with IUM’s mission, vision, and values.

The MBA Associate Program Director collaborates with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and corporate partners to enhance the program’s academic quality, experiential learning opportunities, and relevance to global business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

The main duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leading and supporting strategic planning, curriculum development, and continuous improvement of the MBA program;
• Ensuring academic quality and innovation in teaching and learning, and supporting faculty in delivering high-impact courses;
• Collaborating closely with IUM’s leadership, program directors, and administrative offices to achieve the program’s goals;
• Supporting student recruitment, admissions, advising, and career placement activities;
• Contributing to assessment and accreditation processes (AMBA, AACSB);
• Representing the MBA program to internal and external stakeholders, including alumni, partner institutions, and the business community;
• Strengthening connections between the MBA and the executive education ecosystem of the university.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

Applicants should demonstrate a strong combination of academic excellence, leadership, and practical experience.

Required qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Management, Marketing, Finance, or a related Business field;
• Holding an Associate or Full professorship from another Institute
• Academic publications in international peer-reviewed journals;
• Proven teaching experience in higher education, preferably in MBA or Executive Education programs;
• Professional or managerial experience in the business industry;
• Fluency in English (French is not required).

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in curriculum development, program management, or academic leadership;
• Familiarity with AMBA and/or AACSB accreditation standards;
• A collaborative and student-centered mindset;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and foster teamwork.
