The private EBS Universität is looking for an experienced, strategic thinker for the position of Rector f/m/d. In this leading role, you will shape academic development, strengthen the international profile and increase the quality of education and research.

Your responsibilities

• Strategic management and guaranteeing the continuous qualitative and quantitative growth of the university on the basis of immersive market insight in close cooperation with the Executive Board and the Faculties.
• Further developing a target image for EBS Universität.
• Academic leadership and representation of the university at national and international level as well as establishing and further developing international partnerships, including increasing student numbers.
• Promoting the quality of teaching and research to ensure that all envisaged (international) accreditations and excellent rankings in teaching and research are both retained and attained.
• Responsibility for the development and implementation of innovative, digital teaching and learning concepts.
• Cooperation with external partners from science, business and society with the aim of increasing the volume of third-party funding and increasing the number of participants in our executive education programmes.
• Political network building and participation in SRH Group committees.
• Supporting programme development and its implementation.
• Supporting the Deans in managing the two faculties with the aim of:
  1. strengthening cooperation.
  2. further increasing student satisfaction.
  3. high-calibre placement of our students in business and research.

• Extensive board-level experience.
• Integrative management style and strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
• Understanding of the specifics of the disciplines represented at EBS Universität, in particular business administration and law.
• Requirements for the appointment of university professors in accordance with the HessHG.
• Understanding that EBS Universität is also part of the SRH Education Group / participation in the development of group-wide university programmes.
• Fluent in German and English (C-Level), both written and spoken, with strong communication skills.
