RECRUITMENT OF A FULL-TIME ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN INTERNATIONAL MARKETING AND AS DEPUTY HEAD OF THE MARKETING DEPARTMENT (M/W/D) AT ICN BUSINESS SCHOOL, NANCY, PARIS

The Marketing Department consists of 19 permanent members at the three locations Nancy, Paris and Berlin and of six affiliate professors.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position has already gained experience in academic leadership positions. S/he will have teaching experience and strong research interest in international marketing, including export-import, international business techniques, etc.
The candidate is expected to co-direct the department across the three campuses, including teaching resource planning and course allocation with the perspective to take over the full department responsibility after approximately 12 months. S/he needs to pursue research excellence, preferably connecting to the school’s main research themes, and to teach to multiple audiences (Bachelor, Master, Executive Education) on the different campuses and teaching sites of the school. Candidates are also expected to demonstrate their willingness to innovate in the design of courses, teaching material and teaching methods, particularly digital materials. For this position, fluency in both English and French are required. Further, we expect that the candidate becomes a member of the research laboratory CEREFIGE.
To be appointable as Associate Professor, candidates must have a PhD and several years of work experience in higher education or research, a record of excellence in research with publications in internationally leading journals, and evidence of strong teaching quality.
