Full Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor in Organizational Behavior and HRM, Business and Society, Entrepreneurship, Marketing

The Suliman S. Olayan School of Business (OSB) at the American University of Beirut (AUB) is inviting applications from outstanding candidates to fill positions in its Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship (MME) track. The positions are tenure-track at the ranks of Full Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, in the following disciplines:

1. Organizational Behavior and HRM, with particular interest in AI and the future of work, employee well-being & changing work relationships.
2. Business and Society, including business ethics, sustainability, CSR, and business in contexts of conflict or institutional uncertainty.
3. Entrepreneurship including entrepreneurial ecosystems, digital ventures, scaling and entrepreneurship in emerging markets.
4. Marketing, across various sub-disciplines, including consumer behavior, digital marketing and marketing analytics.

Current faculty engage in a diverse range of research topics, with a particular focus on social issues related to business and management such as gender equality, leadership and business, entrepreneurship in crisis settings, sustainability, and peacebuilding, with faculty members publishing in top-tier journals such as Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Management Studies, Organization Studies, Research Policy, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Business Ethics, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management Journal, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development, Industrial Marketing Management, and Business & Society.

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. (from an AACSB or equivalent accredited organization) completed by the start date of the appointment.

The candidate will also provide evidence of high-quality scholarly output or potential for independent research leading to peer assessed publications. In addition, the candidate must prove strong potential for outstanding teaching contributions at the undergraduate, graduate, and executive levels.
