HELBUS Helsinki School of Business is seeking an experienced instructor to deliver the module Social Responsibility of Business (BUS3001) from January - June 2027. The position is part-time and fixed term. Teaching will take place during day time at our city centre campus at Kalevankatu 12.

The module is part of the University of Northampton’s third-year top-up BA (Hons) programme in business and management, delivered by HELBUS in Helsinki. The instructor is expected to prepare, teach and assess the module, in close collaboration with the UoN module leader and HELBUS programme leader. The module’s content, description, learning outcomes, assessment criteria and schedule are determined by UoN. We require the following:

  • Teaching experience directly related to the module content at least at undergraduate level, especially business sustainability and ethics, ESG and social responsibility
  • Master’s or preferably Ph.D. in business or related field
  • Excellent English skills

Additionally, we greatly value the following:

  • Relevant practice experience
  • Sound experience in planning, delivering and assessing courses and providing feedback to students
  • Proactive approach to supporting students and interactive teaching methods
  • Experience in the UK higher education sector
  • Structured approach with attention to detail
