Department of Management and Entrepreneurship Start: flexible; fixed for four years

We are seeking a post-doctoral researcher in Management / Entrepreneurship who intends to pursue an academic career. The post-doc researcher will work on her/his own projects and engage competitively in grant applications. She/he participates in projects aligned to the department and will take on teaching responsibilities.

About us

We are a dedicated research and teaching department specializing in strategic management, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Current research focuses on using a range of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods approaches, combining academic rigor with practical relevance. Our team actively engages in scholarly discourse through conference participation and publications. Through our executive education programs, as well as projects and events bridging academia and practice, we foster management and entrepreneurship and serve as an active player in the Bernese ecosystem.

Your tasks

• Participation in and execution of independent and collaborative research projects
• Collaboration within an internationally oriented research team; publication of research findings in peer-reviewed academic journals
• Support for teaching activities and supervision of Bachelor and Master students
• Collaboration with doctoral candidates
• Participation in continuing education at the interface of academia and practice (CAS teaching/coaching)

Your profile

• Doctorate from an accredited University in Business Administration or related disciplines in the humanities and social sciences
• Interest in empirical research within our department's specific themes
• Evidence of the ability to conduct and publish high-quality research
• Excellent written and spoken English skills, proficiency in German
