THE COLLEGE

Through its excellence in teaching, research and innovation, the College of Business & Management (CBM) aims to nurture and develop competent business professionals, leaders and entrepreneurs with integrity who are critical thinkers and aspire to assist Vietnam in its strong growth projection.

With a vision to become a research focused college, the College of Business and Management will soon offer different graduate programs, a number of new undergraduate programs and provide the desirable research environment for our faculty members to conduct world-class research and pursue advances in business. With the advantage of being in the ecosystem of Vingroup with a number of leading companies such as Vinpearl, Vinhomes, VinHMS, VinFast, VinTech, and Vincom Retail, the College will collaborate closely with these companies and often in research to create breakthrough products, services and solutions. The University has a strong connectivity with industry and students actively engage in internship & capstone projects.

THE POSITION

The College of Business and Management at VinUniversity is recruiting a faculty member in the Business Analytics discipline. Appointments to Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Full Professor are determined based on qualifications and relevant experience.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The faculty members will be responsible for three primary responsibilities: 

• Research
  • Lead high-impact, research with strong translational outcomes and publications in top-tier journals and secure competitive external funding.
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration within and beyond the College through active engagement in academic events.
  • Contribute to innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology transfer, including commercialization efforts.

• Teaching
  • Develop, plan, and deliver high-quality, accredited curricula for undergraduate and/or graduate programs.
  • Supervise research students and projects, and mentor junior faculty.

• Service
  • Contribute to university service through committee work, faculty recruitment, accreditation, and program development.
  • Support initiatives aligned with VinUni’s Vision 2030 and carry out duties assigned by the Dean.

The workload allocation will be based on faculty rank and track in alignment with generally accepted international standards and practices at universities. The University offers both Teaching track and Teaching & Research track opportunities.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Join us if you have: 

• Have earned a  doctorate degree in related fields from globablly recognized universities.
• Have a strong knowledge of the subject area combined with a broad subject background enabling contributions to teaching programs.
• Have good experience in experiential learning methods such as TBL (Team-based Learning), PBL (Project-based Learning), ABL (Action-based Learning) and can successfully employ them in all courses.
• Demonstrate a record of teaching excellence (student evaluation, teaching award, etc.).
• Strong vision for impactful, forward-thinking research and innovation.
• Proven record of high-impact research and top-tier publications.
• Passion for education and advancing science through innovative projects.
• Adaptable and driven to address global and local challenges, especially those relevant to Vietnam.
• Alignment with VinUni’s core values: Empathy, Exceptional Capability, Creativity, Entrepreneurial Spirit, and Leadership Mindset.
