12-MONTH RENEWABLE FULL-TIME FACULTY POSITION AS PROFESSOR OF BUSINESS

Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, invites applications for a twelve-month full-time entry-level faculty position in International Business, beginning January 2027.

The teaching responsibility is 6 undergraduate courses (18 credits) per year. Candidates should have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and willingness to engage in advising and service to develop our small, dynamic department and campus programs.

Additionally, the candidate is expected to conduct world-class research, be able to attract external research funds, and build a diverse research team in collaboration with business and university partners. Possible fields of interest include but are not limited to International Trade, Business and Culture, Management and Organizational Behavior. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to undergraduate teaching and be actively engaged in research.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Management, Marketing or International Business prior the appointment, have demonstrated teaching excellence, have generated intellectual contributions in their primary teaching discipline as demonstrated by activity that generates publications in leading peer review journals (including JCR indexed publications). Preference will be given to candidates holding the Spanish Ministry of Education - ANECA accreditation certificate (ideally Profesor Contratado Doctor (PCD) or Profesor de Univesidad Privada (PUP)). Teaching experience with diverse student populations, and fluent Spanish are desirable.
