The MEREE PhD Programme offers an integrated, systems-oriented approach to complex challenges in management, engineering, and real estate economics. PhD candidates develop a cross-functional and inter-organisational perspective, combining technological, organisational, social, economic, and financial dimensions to design innovative and effective solutions.

Research areas

• Management Engineering: operations and supply chain management, quality and service management, project and technology management, innovation, organisation theory, and risk/complexity management.
• Real Estate Economics: valuation methods, urban real estate development, historic and architectural assets, land economics, and environmental goods.
• Data Science & Artificial Intelligence: statistical methods for engineering management, data science, and machine learning.

Cycle 42 (Academic Year 2026/27): 4 fully funded PhD scholarships (full-time, 3 years)
