In September 2026, two associate professor positions will be available in management science.

We are particularly looking for the following profiles: Marketing / Sales Management or Supply Chain Management / Purchasing or Accounting / Control / Finance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching:

  • Provide instruction in your field of expertise related to the School's interdisciplinary projects
  • Teach French and international students enrolled in full-time, part-time, and cooperative education study tracks
  • Complete 128 teaching hours per year with the possibility of additional hours

Research:

  • Actively participate in research activities as a member of one of our two research centers, HuManiS or LaRGE, and produce continuous high-quality scientific output through publications in high-level peer-reviewed journals; participation in collective projects (e.g., ANR and IDEX); and dissemination of research at national and international conferences (bonuses exist for academic publications of articles and books)
  • Have a scientific specialization related to one of the three areas of expertise of EM Strasbourg: (1) entrepreneurial dynamics, (2) responsible & sustainable management for change, and (3) digital transformation management in organizations

Other paid activities:

  • Supervise interns
  • Participate in admissions panels
  • Undertake pedagogical or administrative responsibilities
  • Carry out specific tasks/projects assigned by School administration

PROFILE

  • Doctor in management science (PhD dissertation must be defended before Jun. 30, 2026, with the possibility of providing preliminary defense reports at the interview)
  • Expertise in Marketing / Sales Management or Supply Chain Management / Purchasing or Accounting / Control / Finance
  • High potential for publication in national and international academic journals
  • Ability to teach in French and English (a third language is an asset)
  • Interest in innovative teaching methods (an asset)
  • Willingness to coordinate study tracks / specializations / full-time or part-time degrees, such as a master’s degree, MBA, or equivalent, offered by the School
