The four accredited Schools of the Omnes Group, specialized in the field of management and digital, AI and technological engineering, are federating their research and support for the professional development of faculty members within the Omnes Education Research Center & Faculty.

Joining the ESCE allows potential candidates to benefit from an accompaniment in the development of projects related to pedagogy and research, combining digital and management skills, and the formalization and submission of European or ANR projects. In addition, the potential candidates can benefit from close cooperation with companies with Boèce Funds for Research & Innovation, increase the impact of his/her intellectual contributions and research via public media exposure, undertake projects related to AI & digital pedagogical innovations, and collaborate with the group's Program Management team.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening ESCE’s research output in International Management and Innovation, with a specific focus on how innovation capabilities foster sustainability transitions in organisations and industries. Building on strong expertise in innovation ecosystems, sustainable business models, and transformation processes, the candidate will help strengthen ESCE’s intellectual footprint and international visibility. A key dimension of the position is the development and leadership of competitive European research initiatives, reinforcing ESCE’s engagement in interdisciplinary, multi‑actor collaborations and its positioning within international research networks. The role also supports the School’s strategic development toward international accreditations (e.g., AACSB), contributing to the consolidation of high‑quality research output and the integration of responsible and sustainable management principles across programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Academic Contribution

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in International Management, Innovation, Strategy, Sustainability, or Digital Transformation.
  • Contribute to programme development aligned with ESCE’s international and responsible management orientation.
  • Supervise master’s dissertations and, where applicable, doctoral research in areas related to innovation management and sustainability transitions.

Research & Academic Impact

  • Maintain an active and ambitious research agenda connected to innovation management, sustainable business models, and organisational change for sustainability transitions.
  • Publish in internationally recognised peer-reviewed journals.
  • Contribute to ESCE’s AACSB research standards and intellectual contribution strategy.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary research initiatives and foster collaborations with international research partners.

European Research Funding & Project Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate applications to European funding programmes (Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, etc.), particularly those focusing on innovation, sustainability, and transitions in key sectors.
  • Develop and manage international research consortia and ensure high-quality scientific coordination and reporting of funded projects.
  • Strengthen ESCE’s visibility and positioning within European research networks.

Institutional & Strategic Development

  • Contribute to ESCE’s international partnerships and academic collaborations.
  • Support accreditation processes (AACSB, EFMD) through continuous improvement of academic quality and research impact.
  • Engage with corporate, entrepreneurial, and innovation ecosystems —especially those oriented toward sustainability and responsible innovation.

About the Candidate

  • PhD in International Management, Innovation, Strategy, or related field.
  • Strong and consistent publication record in ranked journals in innovation management, sustainability transitions, or adjacent fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in European-funded research projects, including proposal development, consortium leadership, and scientific coordination within interdisciplinary and international contexts.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic academic and stakeholder partnerships, drawing on experience with industry, policy actors, and innovation ecosystems.
  • Capacity to engage in high‑impact research, contribute to ESCE’s accreditation processes (AACSB, EFMD), and support the development of an internationally oriented, responsible management curriculum.
  • Fluency in English (while it is a plus, knowledge of French is not mandatory).
