Project Assistant Professor at the Department of Business Administration (starting August 1, 2026)

Job Description

The Department of Business Administration of the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology invites applications for Project Assistant Professor position.

The successful candidate should be an expert in one of these specializations: business strategy, marketing, Human Resources Management, data analysis, Business applications of artificial intelligence and management-related fields.

The appointment commences on August 1, 2026. The appointment term for project personnel is one year, aligned with the academic year and semester. Upon expiration, the contract may be renewed based on the actual needs of the appointing unit.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in one of the above-mentioned specializations (Approximately 9 hours of teaching per week).
• Engage in innovative approaches to learning and teaching.
• Publish high-quality research in leading journals.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications

• A Ph.D. degree in one of the above-mentioned areas.
• Ability to teach in English.
• At least one year of industry-related working (research) experience in the relevant field (for tenure-track application only).

• Two letters of recommendation (one of which to be written by the doctoral supervisor).
• List of publications, including the abstracts of each publication and an abstract of the doctoral dissertation.
• Copies of academic degree certificates and copies of transcripts of all levels.
• A list of courses that can be taught and the syllabus of these courses.
• Any other supporting documents that you deem relevant for the application.
