Full-Time Faculty Position in Entrepreneurship: Professor

Position Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality lectures and seminars in Entrepreneurship at the bachelor's and master's levels.
Primary teaching areas include (but are not limited to):
- Entrepreneurship
- Innovation Management
- Digital Business
The role also includes supervising bachelor’s and master’s theses, leading research in entrepreneurship or related fields, and actively participating in academic and institutional initiatives aimed at strengthening entrepreneurial, innovative, and practice-oriented education at ISM.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging, high-quality lectures and seminars in entrepreneurship-related subjects.
- Design, update, and innovate course content to reflect the latest insights in entrepreneurship research, innovation management, digital entrepreneurship, and the global startup ecosystem.
- Mentor and supervise students preparing bachelor’s and/or master’s theses, especially those focused on entrepreneurial topics.
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in entrepreneurship, publishing in AJG-ranked academic journals.
- Present research findings at leading academic conferences and apply for competitive research grants (national and international).
- Engage with the entrepreneurship community, including incubators, accelerators, startups, and industry partners, to enrich teaching and experiential learning.
- Collaborate with faculty across disciplines on research projects and academic initiatives.
- Participate in faculty meetings, committees, program development, and community-related activities.
Qualifications
- PhD in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in higher education (entrepreneurship, innovation, or related areas).
- A strong research record, demonstrated through publications in recognised AJG-ranked journals, particularly in entrepreneurship and innovation.
- Experience or research interests in areas such as venture creation, startup ecosystems, entrepreneurial strategy, entrepreneurial leadership, innovation processes, or entrepreneurial finance.
- Proven excellence in teaching and a strong commitment to student-centred, experiential, and practice-based learning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students in interactive, project-based, and real-world entrepreneurial learning environments.
- International academic or professional experience, preferably in European or North American institutions.
- A collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills for working in a diverse academic community.
