The school offers a wide range of programmes including undergraduate, integrated masters, MSc, and executive programmes.

ESSCA’s Languages Academic Department (LANG) is seeking an Assistant Professor of English to fill a part time position for its Paris campus.

The percentage of work time (currently at 60%) may evolve according to the future needs of the Languages Department. 

Candidates, minimum Bac+4/Bac+5, must hold relevant and proven experience and qualifications in the teaching of English at the tertiary level (all CERCL levels) in multi-campus syllabi development and implementation, and team management. Knowledge in digital media would be an advantage.

As well as teaching to a variety of audiences (undergraduates, graduates), the faculty member will carry out the following missions within the Department:

  • Responsibility for anything English-related on the Paris Campus,
  • Coordination of a module of study within the English section and management of the teaching team for that module on all campuses,
  • Assistance in training new English teachers,
  • Participation in the development of English course materials,
  • Participation in the development of English evaluations,
  • Help with the organisation and monitoring of the official English tests (TOEFL, TOEIC):

Official exams are organised on Saturdays on the Paris campus so availability on those Saturdays would be necessary.

The faculty member will also carry out other occasional tasks for the school:

  • Participation in oral entrance exams,
  • Tutoring of 1st year students,
  • Participation in JPO (Open Days),
  • Attendance at meetings organised by the school (Department, section meetings, staff meetings).
