Founded in 1909, ESSCA is an internationally accredited business school (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) located on 10 campuses: Angers, Aix-en-Provence, Bordeaux, Budapest, Luxembourg, Lyon, Malaga, Paris, Shanghai, and Strasbourg. The school offers a wide range of programmes including undergraduate, integrated masters, MSc, and executive programmes.

ESSCA’s Organization, Management, and Human Resources (OMHR) Academic Department is seeking an Assistant or an Associate Professor of Management for its Malaga campus.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join the OMHR Academic Department who can make a significant contribution to our research and teaching strategy.  The department has around 30 academic staff, present on all ESSCA's French campuses, and focuses its work on the fields of organizational, project and people management, as well as business ethics and corporate social responsibility. The position is open to candidates with a high potential for, or a significant record of, academic publications in peer reviewed journals.

Requirements for the position include:

  • a PhD in Management, Organisational Behavior, or a related field,
  • a specialization in Management with an interest in high tech industry and/or innovation management,
  • a proven track record of teaching and an innovative, applied research agenda,
  • strong communication skills,
  • the ability to work as part of a team.

Interest also in the areas of project and/or people management, and prior corporate experience would also be beneficial.

Candidates must be able to speak in Spanish, and to teach in English to a variety of audiences (undergraduates, graduates, and Executives). The expected language proficiency is Upper Intermediate (B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
