Assistant / Associate Professor of Marketing

Founded in 1909, ESSCA is an internationally accredited business school (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) located on 10 campuses: Angers, Aix-en-Provence, Bordeaux, Budapest, Luxembourg, Lyon, Malaga, Paris, Shanghai, and Strasbourg. The school offers a wide range of programmes including undergraduate, integrated masters, MSc, and executive programmes.

ESSCA’s Marketing and Retailing (MART) Academic Department is seeking an Assistant or an Associate Professor of Marketing for its Malaga campus.

The main research areas of the department include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading Sustainable and Ethical Marketing,
  • Reshaping the Retailing Experience,
  • Understanding Consumer Journey and Shopping Behaviours,
  • Strategizing and implementing Digital Innovation etc.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Marketing, demonstrate interest in Digital Marketing and AI, and have a proven experience in higher education.

Candidates must have a high potential or a significant record of academic publications in peer-reviewed journals, preferably in areas consistent with the specializations of current faculty. He/she must be a team player with good communication skills.

Candidates must be able to speak in Spanish, and to teach in English to a variety of audiences (undergraduates, graduates, and Executives). The expected language proficiency is Upper Intermediate (B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

Prior corporate experience would be an advantage.
