SKEMA Business School (https://www.skema.edu/) is seeking candidates for multiple Associate Professor roles in Management, specializing in either Supply Chain Management or Strategic Management, with a focus on teaching activities. Selected candidates will be responsible for designing and delivering courses in these areas, equipping students with the essential theoretical knowledge, skills, and competencies needed for academic and professional success in management. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with internationally recognized faculty, academic programs, and various internal and external partners to advance the development of the BBA programme in Dubaï.

The position is permanent with a full-time contract. Salary and conditions are competitive, in line with international standards. SKEMA Business School offers publication bonuses for peer-reviewed publications. The language of work and teaching is English. Knowledge of French is not required and is not a criterion for selection.

Qualifications must include:

  • A doctoral degree in management or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in higher education, in an international environment.
  • Successful teaching experience in the respective specialisation, with a focus on excellence in pedagogy and successful curriculum development.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to sustainably develop and implement curriculum in various programmes.
  • Consistent ability to produce intellectual contributions in the respective specialisation.
  • Commitment to service and/or outreach activities.

Expectations:

  • Deliver quality courses at different academic levels, with a focus on the BBA programme, in a multi-cultural and international environment.
  • Incorporate a competence-oriented approach throughout the Management curriculum – with particular attention to the courses in the specializations, including the case study method, company visits, guest speakers, etc.
  • In accordance with the educational approaches embraced in the program, design innovative pedagogical content using a variety of resources.
  • Contribute to the local development of the BBA programme, in cooperation with the Academic and Program Management.
  • Identify, recruit and manage external lecturers, in collaboration with Academic Management in Dubaï.
  • Connect internationally and create an international community based on SKEMA footprint.
  • Demonstrate collegiality and commitment to the life of the institution.
