Post-Doc Position in Technology Transfer and Commercialization in the FoodTech Industry at the House of Innovation, Stockholm School of Economics (SSE)

Department of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology

The House of Innovation is looking for a dedicated scholar with a robust research background to join us for two years. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working collaboratively with a dynamic team. The position will be part of Plenty, an interdisciplinary project financed by the Swedish Research Council Formas on symbiotic and circular food provisioning (https://www.kth.se/plenty/plenty-a-centre-for-a-circular-and-symbiotic-food-provisioning-1.1399253 ). The position is a part of the Innovation Management work package and will focus specifically on knowledge transfer and commercialization. The candidate will be working primarily with Professor Valentina Tartari and Dr Maria Bustamante. The position comes with an option to teach and strong support to publish existing research from the PhD.

The successful candidate has built a research agenda during their PhD and is keen to jointly publish in top tier journals. Furthermore, the funding context allows the exploration of real-life cases and the pursuit of exiting new research topics. A strong interest in circularity and the food industry is desirable. We welcome applications from researchers with expertise in either qualitative (case studies, interviews, and observations) or quantitative empirical methods (secondary data analysis, experiments), but a basic knowledge of both is required.

The applicants must hold a PhD and show an ability and aspiration to publish manuscripts in the top journals of our field. Priority will be given to candidates with research relevant to the topics above. Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a requirement. We expect the candidate to relocate to Stockholm.
