Full, Associate or Assistant Professor (Tenure track) in Accounting and Control

PAS and PO 6 years renewable
Assistant Professors on tenure track are hired for a two-year term, renewable twice on the recommendation of the Dean's Office (the maximal length of the tenure track period is therefore 6 years). An evaluation procedure is initiated at the earliest after 2.5 years (fast track) and at the latest after 4.5 years. If the evaluation turns out to be positive, the Faculty proposes to the Direction of UNIL that the candidate be tenured to the rank of Associate Professor.
Your qualifications
Candidates must hold a PhD in Accounting, or a related managerial discipline. They should have a promising research and publication record in the field of Accounting or Control. Research areas include financial accounting, auditing, management accounting, accounting and information systems, artificial intelligence in accounting and control, risk management, environmental and sustainability accounting, internal controls, compliance and capital markets. Applicants should have the capacity to contribute to the development of HEC Lausanne’s Accounting and Control research and teaching activities. Teaching experience at university level (Bachelor and Master) will be valued. The successful candidate will be expected to be able to teach in French and English after six years.
The new professor will be a member of the Departement of Accounting and Control.

La personne nommée Professeur·e Assistant·e en Prétitularisation conditionnelle est engagée pour un mandat de deux ans, renouvelable deux fois sur recommandation du Décanat. Une procédure d'évaluation est initiée en principe à la fin du 8ème semestre, soit au début du troisième mandat de deux ans. A l'issue de cette procédure, la Faculté propose (ou non) à la Direction de l'UNIL de titulariser le·la candidat·e au rang de Professeur·e Associé·e.
Votre profil
Les candidat·e·s doivent être titulaires d’un doctorat en comptabilité ou dans une discipline managériale connexe. Ils ou elles doivent présenter un dossier de recherche et de publications prometteur dans le domaine de la comptabilité ou du contrôle. Les domaines de recherche incluent la comptabilité financière, l’audit, la comptabilité de gestion, la comptabilité et les systèmes d’information, l’intelligence artificielle appliquée à la comptabilité et au contrôle, la gestion des risques, la comptabilité environnementale et durable, les contrôles internes, la conformité et les marchés financiers. Les candidat·e·s doivent avoir la capacité de contribuer au développement des activités de recherche et d’enseignement en comptabilité et contrôle de HEC Lausanne. Une expérience d’enseignement au niveau universitaire (Bachelor et Master) sera valorisée. Le ou la candidat·e retenu·e devra être capable d’enseigner en français et en anglais après six ans.
Le·la nouveau·elle professeur·e sera membre du département de comptabilité et contrôle.
