Audencia (https://www.audencia.com/) invites applications for a position as Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in Accounting. The position is for a full-time, permanent contract and is based in Nantes or Paris.

Position requirements

We are looking for applicants specialized in Accounting in terms of both teaching and research. Applicants shall hold a Ph.D., they shall be able to demonstrate their ability to teach effectively a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses, such as Accounting and Management control. In accordance to our programs and in coherence with our school strategic axes. The teaching associated with the position will be in English. French language will be an asset but is not compulsory.

Position overview

The candidate should be able to contribute to the department’s effort to generate knowledge through interdisciplinary, original and high-quality scientific research that enables responses to the organizational, economic, technological, environmental and social challenges of today's world.

The new faculty member will join our Accounting, Management Control and Economics Department, consisting of 24 core faculty members. The research and pedagogy axes of the department are: Accounting Data Analytics and Sustainability issues in Accounting and Management Control. The department manages several programs such as MSc in Data management for Finance, Auditing Major, CFO and management control, BBA Big Data and Management, the Finance/Management Control specialisation in the 3rd year of the Bachelor in Management and MSc in Sustainability performance and management control.

Salary is negotiable and commensurate with potential and experience. There are a number of benefits attached to the contract including an individual research or pedagogical budget, the possibility to apply for additional internal funding opportunities, performance-based bonuses and family medical coverage.

Environment

The school has campuses in France and abroad. This position is based in Nantes or Paris but the successful candidate must also be willing to teach across campuses.
