Open Rank Faculty Position in Strategy

The Department of Management of ESSEC Business School (Paris campus) invites applications for an open-rank faculty position in Strategy and/or Organization theory, with a starting date of September 2026.

We seek applications from candidates who demonstrate potential for high-quality and rigorous research in strategy, with the opportunity to build upon related disciplinary foundations (such as Organization Theory, Economic Sociology, Economics, Finance, etc.). The candidate will teach strategy courses in undergraduate and graduate programs. Knowledge of French is not required.

This position offers a dynamic and stimulating research and teaching environment in Paris, one of the most exciting places in the world. The Management Department at ESSEC Business School consists of more than 30 faculty members with expertise in strategy, innovation, entrepreneurship, organizational theory, organizational behavior, and human resources. Members of the Management department frequently publish in the leading journals, are active contributors to the profession through service as editors or editorial board members of major journals, and are highly involved in the ESSEC PhD program. These collaborations lead to exciting opportunities for research as well as teaching in various forms, including on our campuses in Singapore and Morocco.
