10 fully-funded scholarships available
Politecnico di Milano School of Management (SoM) is seeking talented and motivated candidates for its Ph.D. Program in Management Engineering (DRIG), starting 1st November 2025.
This full-time, 3-year doctoral program offers a rigorous curriculum at the intersection of management, economics, and industrial engineering, designed to train the next generation of scholars and research-driven professionals.
SoM has a solid commitment to excellence in teaching and research. The Ph.D. program trains students for high-level academic and practice-oriented research. The employment rate of its graduates is strikingly high (approximately 95%). Many Ph.D. graduates - who chose to pursue an academic career - are now professors in high-ranked universities, while the others who decided to work in the private sector instead, have achieved relevant positions.
Candidates have a structured study plan and attend courses that expose them to diverse theories and methods. While preparing their Ph.D. thesis, students are encouraged to combine diverse perspectives, span disciplinary boundaries, and, more generally, think out of the box.
