Role Profile & Responsibilities

The Department of Management at CUNEF University is seeking outstanding candidates for assistant (tenure track) faculty positions in multiple tracks: International Business/ Entrepreneurship/ Strategy / Organizational behavior/ Marketing and Operations Management.

The positions are available in September 2026.

The successful candidates are expected to conduct high quality research and teaching in the aforementioned areas, as well as to contribute to program management, research supervision, and other service activities at CUNEF University.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Applicants should hold a PhD in a relevant field before being appointed. ABD with a promising profile will be also considered.
• Candidates should show strong evidence of recent research productivity and/or demonstrable potential to publish research on journals highly ranked on the ABS and FT50 lists.
• Successful candidates will be expected to teach at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels, publish their research in leading academic journals, engage in academic leadership, and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of a range of courses or programs at various levels.
• The selected candidates will be expected to actively engage with the academic community, contribute to the Department’s initiatives and activities, attend Department’s meetings and seminars, and participate in CUNEF University’s events.
• Applicants should be fluent in English. Knowledge of Spanish is not required but it will be appreciated, as CUNEF University offers graduate and executive programs in both Spanish and English.
• Successful candidates should possess good communication and inter-personal skills, ability to work as a part of a team, and ability to teach students with diverse backgrounds.

About the Department of Management

The candidate will join the Department of Management, a dynamic and multidisciplinary team of approximately 15 people, dedicated to excellence in both teaching and research. The department has been experiencing steady growth over the past three years, fostering an environment of continuous development and collaboration. Our faculty are active contributors to leading academic journals, such as Strategic Management Journal; Organization Science; Journal of Management; Research Policy; Information Systems Research; Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science; Journal of Applied Psychology; Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal; Journal of Product Innovation Management; Journal of Business Ethics; Journal of Supply Chain Management; British Journal of Management; Human Resource Management; among others.
