HELBUS Helsinki School of Business – Lecturer in People Development and Leadership (MBA level)

 

Location: Helsinki, Finland on-site and online from home hase

Contract: Part-time, fixed-term

Teaching Period: September 2025 – January 2026

HELBUS is seeking an experienced instructor to teach “People Development and Leadership” (HRMM093), a core module in the MBA programme delivered in partnership with the University of Northampton (UK). The module follows a set curriculum and is delivered through a Transnational Education arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver, assess, and coordinate the module in collaboration with UoN and HELBUS leaders
• Engage mature MBA students using student-centred, active learning methods
• Prepare and provide feedback on assignments according to UoN criteria

Requirements:

• Teaching experience of the subject at postgraduate (MBA) level
• Expertise in strategic people development, global HR strategy, and inclusive leadership
• Ph.D. or Master’s in business or related field
• Excellent English communication skills

Preferred:

• UK higher education experience, formal teaching qualification, and HR industry practice
