RECRUITMENT OF A FULL-TIME ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN ACCOUNTING (M/W/D) AT ICN BUSINESS SCHOOL IN PARIS AND NANCY

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position at ICN’s Finance, Audit, Accounting & Control Department will have teaching experience and strong research interests in the field of Financial Accounting, International Accounting and Taxation. The candidate is expected to pursue research excellence, preferably connecting to the school’s main research themes, with publications in ranked journals (ABS, FNEGE, FT), and to teach to multiple audiences (Bachelor, Master, Executive Education) on the different campuses of the school. The ability to teach in both English and French is required. Expertise in Audit will be considered strong assets.

Candidates are also expected to demonstrate their willingness to innovate in the design of courses, teaching material and teaching methods particularly regarding digitalization.

To be appointable as Assistant Professor candidates must have a PhD or submitted their thesis, demonstrate their potential for research excellence or already have produced high-quality research output and show aptitude for strong teaching quality.
To be appointable as Associate Professor, candidates must have a PhD and several years of work experience in higher education or research, a record of excellence in research with publications in internationally leading journals, and evidence of strong teaching quality.
