The Department of Management, Technology and Strategy at Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate professor position in Innovation Management.

Candidate profile: We are seeking dynamic, high-potential candidates who:

  • Hold a PhD in Management by the start date of the position;
  • Are passionate about impactful research and have a strong publication record (or high publication potential) in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals indexed in the ABS or FNEGE list;
  • Are committed to disseminating knowledge that empowers students and executives in today’s rapidly changing business environment;
  • Embrace innovative pedagogical approaches and can deliver courses in English. While not required, fluency in both French and English languages is considered a valuable asset;
  • Are eager to supervise students in their Master’s thesis, professional experiences (internships or apprenticeships), and DBA research projects;
  • Exhibit a proactive and collegial attitude toward their colleagues, their department, and the school.

About the research team: The successful candidate will join the Strategy, Innovation, and Society (SIS) research team at GEM. The SIS research team advances knowledge in strategy research, with expertise in business model, dynamics of collective cognition, creativity, inter-organizational relations, and the interplay between new technology and strategy. Team members publish in leading journals including the Journal of Management Studies, Research Policy, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of Business Venturing, Academy of Management Discoveries, and Journal of Business Ethics, among others. Their research spans various industries including the digital economy, healthcare, automotive, and science & technology domains. Beyond academic contributions, the team actively collaborates with practitioners and policymakers to support the evolution of organizations.

Position Details: Remuneration will be proportionate to the applicant's academic qualifications and experience. Position is expected to start in September 2025.
