As part of this trajectory, the Department of Management, Technology and Strategy of Grenoble Ecole de Management invites applications for a full-time position of assistant or associate professor in Information Systems for September 2025, for our Grenoble campus. Candidates must hold a PhD in Management with a specialization in Information Systems by the start date of the position. We welcome research in various areas within Information Systems, including but not limited to digital transformation, data analytics, artificial intelligence in business, human-computer interaction.
Candidates are expected to have the competences to teach subjects such as Business Analytics, Data Management, Python Programming, Artificial Intelligence, and Information Systems Management. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching students at various levels, along with a proactive and collegial attitude. The position involves:
Candidates may apply both in French or English. While not required, fluency in both French and English languages is considered a valuable asset. Remuneration will be proportionate to the applicant's academic qualifications and experience.
We seek a candidate who would integrate the Information Systems for Society research team. The Information Systems team has experience publishing at all levels, including MIS Quarterly, European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Information and Management, Information Systems Journal, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, and MIS Quarterly Executive. The team members also manage the MS Information Systems Manager and MSc Managing with Data and AI, and are actively involved in the MS Big Data and MS Digital Strategy programs. Current team members conduct research on: 1) Digital transformation; 2) Acceptance and acceptability of digital technologies at work; 3) Human-Computer Interaction; 4) AI and education. The Assistant/Associate Professor in Information Systems (IS) at Grenoble Ecole de Management team shares an interest in promoting both fundamental and applied research. The team has a culture of applying and managing external funding, such as industry-contracts and publicly funded research.
