ESDES, the business school of UCLy (Catholic University of Lyon), holds the AACSB accreditation and EFMD accreditation for its Master in Management Program. ESDES is ranked 86st on Financial Times business schools ranking.

Job description

The department of Finance is seeking to fill in two faculty positions to maintain and develop its reputation for excellence in research and high-quality teaching.

In view of its current development, ESDES is opening 1 full-time position as

• International Finance, Accounting

The main responsibilities of the appointee include the following:

• Conducting research and publishing in journals in the FNEGE/ABS lists,
• Teaching in various levels using innovative pedagogy (French & English) – Speaking French is mandatory for this position. Indeed, most of the courses will be given in French.
• Capacity to coordinate courses
• Engage and participate in ESDES’s activities and school life

Job qualifications

Candidates should hold a Ph.D. from a leading institution (accredited AACSB or EQUIS) and have an established record of excellence in teaching (English and French) and research within the advertised discipline.

Description du poste

Le département Finance, Accounting and Economy recrute deux enseignants pour maintenir et renforcer son excellence en recherche et son enseignement de haute qualité.
Au vu de son développement actuel, l’ESDES ouvre 1 poste d’enseignant-chercheur à temps plein en Finance internationale et Comptabilité.

Les principales missions seront entre autres :

• Conduire la recherche et publier dans les journaux/revues répertoriés FNEGE/ABS,
• Enseigner à différents niveaux grâce à des méthodes pédagogiques innovantes (en français et en anglais) La maîtrise du français est obligatoire. En effet, la plupart des cours se feront en français.
• Capacité à coordonner des cours
• S’impliquer et participer aux activités de l’ESDES et à la vie scolaire.

Profil recherché / compétences requises

Les candidats devront avoir obtenu un Doctorat d’une institution reconnue (accréditée AACSB ou EQUIS) et avoir eu une expérience confirmée dans l’enseignement (en anglais et en français) et faire de la recherche dans les disciplines visées.
