JOB DESCRIPTION

Discipline: Information Systems and/or Business Technologies

Functions: teaching, research, community service and instructional leadership

Requirements:

• The candidate has completed a doctorate (DBA or Ph.D.) in administration, management, business technologies, information systems, or a discipline relevant to the position, or is in the process of completing one.

Experience:

• The candidate must have teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level, as well as relevant professional experience related to the management of business technologies or information systems management.
• The candidate must have knowledge of and experience with small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
• Relevant professional experience related to information systems or business technologies, either as a consultant or a manager in a certain organization.

Others:

• Considered as assets:

1. Supervision of students at the graduate (Master’s or Ph.D.) level.
2. Relevant professional experience in marketing, either as a consultant or a manager in an organization.
3. Demonstrated participation in university or regional community services.
4. An interest in pedagogical direction.
