Assistant/Associate/Full Professor position in Sustainability Management, Paris Campus

The Sustainability Department of ESCP Business School invites applications for one open rank position at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level (tenure track for entry level positions). The position is based on our Paris campus and is to be filled by September 2025.

We are looking for candidates with a PhD and a track record of publications and/or promising academic submissions in top quality international journals in the Sustainability Management field, who will actively contribute to research, teaching, and program coordination in this area. Candidates should demonstrate excellent teaching capabilities, a strong collaborative mindset , and a willingness to contribute to the Department’s academic responsibilities. Teaching should address different audiences, from undergraduates to executives

The Sustainability Department is composed of a multi disciplinary team of 17 full time faculty and 5 affiliate professors (12 on the Paris campus) that have developed a strong expertise in sustainability integrating various fields of origin: organization theory, supply chain management, business model design, governance, responsible and sustainable consumption, among others. We have varied research interests, backgrounds and methodological approaches but we are all striving for an uncompromising ambition to change business research, curricula and practice. We protect principles of diversity, inclusion, and academic freedom.

Our faculty are publishing in leading academic journals such as the Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Management Studies, Organization Studies, Journal of Business Ethics, Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of World Business, Ecological Economics, Journal of Consumer Research, PNAS, among others.

  2. Your curriculum vitae with a list of publications.
  3. Your “sustainability statement as a scholar” sharing your vision and your personal way of embodying the role of professor in sustainability management (it can be a text, a short video, or a podcast).
  4. Teaching evaluations from the past two years (if applicable).
  5. Two references (providing contact details will be enough at the initial application stage).
