TBS Education - Barcelona Campus Position of Assistant/Associate Professor in Human Resources Management
Starting in September 2025

The Department of Human Resources Management and Business Law of TBS Education seeks to fill one faculty position in the field of Human Resource Management, to maintain and develop its reputation for excellence in research and high-quality teaching. The position will be based in Barcelona.

The department of Human Resources Management and Business Law brings together 17 faculty members whose recent publications appeared in leading journals such as Academy of Management Perspectives, Journal of Management, Human Resource Management, Journal of World Business, Public Administration Review, Journal of Business Ethics, European Journal of Information Systems, and Journal of International Business Studies. POSITION OVERVIEW:

Candidates should hold a PhD in Human Resources Management and should possess excellent teaching abilities, as well as the potential to publish in leading academic journals. They may have demonstrated these qualities during their post-doctoral experience or during their previous employment. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the teaching of Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior & Team Management, and Corporate Social Responsibility, in English, at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, they will be expected to develop lectures in their field of expertise for the graduate and executive education levels. Ideal candidates will have defended their PhD in the past five years, have a successful first experience in academia or human resource management, and have a good command of the Spanish language. Knowledge of Barcelona's socio-economic environment and the local corporate network would be highly appreciated.
