Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position in ICN’s Finance, Audit, Accounting & Control Department will have teaching experience and strong research interests in the field of market finance. Expertise in blockchain and with Bloomberg is required. The candidate is expected to pursue research excellence, preferably connecting to the school’s main research themes, with publications in ranked journals (ABS, FNEGE, FT), and to teach to multiple audiences (Bachelor, Master, Executive Education) on the different campuses of the school. The ability to teach in both English and French is required. Furthermore, we expect that the candidate becomes a member of the research laboratory CEREFIGE.

Candidates are also expected to demonstrate their willingness to innovate in the design of courses, teaching material and teaching methods, particularly regarding digitalisation.

To be appointable as Assistant Professor, candidates must have a PhD or submitted their thesis, demonstrate their potential for research excellence or already have produced high-quality research output and show aptitude for strong teaching quality.
To be appointable as Associate Professor, candidates must have a PhD and several years of work experience in higher education or research, a record of excellence in research with publications in internationally leading journals, and evidence of strong teaching quality.
