Brief posting description
Generally, WBS academics work exclusively with postgraduate students and senior executives. They deliver highly-rated learning, higher degree supervision, accredited research, and opinion leadership on business critical issues. This WBS/CAPSI researcher would work exclusively for the Centre on African Philanthropy and Social Investment particularly on a donor funded project that will run for five (5) years. The project is funded by the Mastercard Foundation and focuses on 17 countries in Africa. It seeks to examine the extent to which the non-profit sector contributes to dignified employment for young Africans.
CAPSI has already appointed three regional lead researchers (two males and one female) for East, Southern and West Africa. CAPSI is now looking for a female regional lead researcher for North Africa to be based in Johannesburg but there is a possibility also to be based in North Africa. Working with other project implementation team, each regional lead researcher is responsible for the development of the research design, landscaping, selection and training of country partners.
