Position : Assistant, Associate, Full Professor in Operations Management

Position description : Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE), a triple-accredited institution (AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA), opens positions at the Assistant, Associate or Full (tenure track) Professor level in Operations Management, Decision Sciences, or Business Analytics, starting on September 1, 2025. Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Operations, Decision Sciences, Business Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline by the start date. Applicants should exhibit a solid research record and need to demonstrate ability to publish in leading international business peer-reviewed journals, such as Management Science, Operations Research, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, and Production and Operations Management. Selected applicants are also expected to contribute to teaching in Operations, Management of Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Management, Privacy, or other related areas. Compensation is competitive with top universities in Europe.

School description : Nova SBE offers programs in management, economics, and finance at the undergraduate, master, MBA, and doctorate levels, as well as executive education. The conditions of employment comply with the terms of Regulation no 409/2018 of 20 June, and the Labour Code, approved by Law no 7/2009 of 12 February, with subsequent amendments ("Labour Code"). Salary is subject to training and experience and may vary depending on the category (Assistant, Associate or Full) and career stage and based on a full-time contract of 35 hours.
