Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an Associate Lecturer or Lecturer in AI and Digital Business who will undertake research and teaching primarily in the areas of artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics and digital business with associated responsibilities in administration. To align with the strategic areas of Henley Business School, preference will be given to those who can contribute to teaching and research in business applications of AI and machine learning (ML).

This post is designated as teaching and research.

A successful appointee is expected to contribute to research, teaching and administration, commensurate with the post of Associate Professor or Lecturer dependent on their profile and suitability. The appointee is expected to:

  • Conduct independent research primarily in the area of AI/ML and Digital Business, preferably in areas that involve business applications of AI/ML.
  • Teach a range of modules in the broad area of AI and Digital Business, primarily in undergraduate and pre-experience master’s programmes but also in apprenticeship programmes and Executive Education programmes as agreed by the Head of Business Informatics, Systems and Accounting (BISA); ability to teach data analytics, information systems, and information management will be an advantage.
  • Take on administrative duties and academic citizenship activities as well as academic leadership roles as appropriate.
