Pacífico Business School (PBS), the business school of UP, provides a wide range of high-quality master degrees, some of them with dual degrees with top world business schools, as well as an extensive variety of executive education programs and seminars. The PBS is currently implementing a new strategic plan, aimed at increasing its internationalization, innovation, quality contents, an outstanding portfolio of master programs and executive education courses through improving its alliances with top world business schools; hiring international professors and staff while building new and state-of-the-art facilities.

Call for the application

Pacífico Business School calls for applications for two full- time professors in the areas of:

• Leadership
• Finance
• Strategy and General Management

The applicants must have the following minimum requirements:

• Doctoral degree from a recognized university.
• Aptitude for academic research, demonstrated by recent publications in scientific journals (Web of Science/Scopus), or book chapters in internationally recognized academic publishers.
• Ability to teach successfully master’s degree and executive education programs.
• Experience in the business world (having experience as a consultant; member of boards; executive committees or top manager).
• Talent to succeed in a professional competitive environment.
• Spirit of service.
• Be completely fluent, with excellent command of writing and speaking skills in English and Spanish.

Our Selection Process

Given in accordance with its academic excellence and its certification process, the university develops a very detailed and comprehensive selection process to occupy a place as a full-time professor. It includes the following stages:

• Submission of documented resume.
• Face–to-face or online interview with the applicant’s evaluation committee.
• Evaluation committee assessment.
• A 10-minutes demo class plus a face-to-face or online interview, with the members of the academic quality department of Pacífico Business School.
• Second rounds of interviews with the evaluation committee.
• Pacífico Business School decision.
