Applications are invited for the full-time post of Senior lecturer in Sustainable Business Management starting on 1 August 2023.
The successful candidate will be part of an international team of lecturers in the Master's Degree programme, Management in Sustainable Business.
The candidate will be expected to possess at minimum a Master's Degree qualification in the field of business/sustainability, but preference will be given to candidates holding a Doctoral Degree qualification, as well as those who have advanced spoken and written competences in English. Teaching experience at the University or preferably University of Applied Sciences level is required. In addition, preference will be given to candidates with practical experience in the Sustainable Business field.
Moreover, preference will be given to candidates with a record of publications in a relevant field and those who can demonstrate their impact and contribution to practice. The candidat's profile and ability to network and develop partnerships with external organizations will be relevant to further enhance both the University's and also the Degree programme's reputation and profile.
The main responsibility of the successful candidate is to teach and assess a range of Sustainable Management courses and be able to engage well with students in the programme. The candidate will design, teach, and deliver course plans and materials, and use their professional research in support of their teaching. The candidate should also have the competences to develop research work, both at the Bachelor's and Master's level in business related English taught degree programmes. In addition, the candidate will participate in project funding application work and must have the enthusiasm to coordinate and develop the degree programme further.

The work will start on 1 August 2023 or according to a mutual agreement. The selected candidate will have a six-month probation period.
You will be working mainly at HAMK's Valkeakoski campus. Distance working for a portion of the work is possible based on mutual agreement.
The qualification requirements for a senior lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences level in Finland are in accordance with decree 1129/2014 § 17. A senior lecturer is also required to have pegagogical studies 60 credits or 35 study weeks.
