Each year, to support its ongoing development, EM Strasbourg Business School creates additional positions.

In September 2023, three contract assistant or associate professor positions will be available in management science.

Expertise in one of the following areas would be an asset: accounting/control/corporate finance, marketing/digital marketing/sales, strategy/entrepreneurship/organization

EM Strasbourg faculty are welcomed within two research centers: LaRGE and HuManiS.

• LaRGE is directed by Professor Laurent Weill and focuses on four priority research areas in finance: banking, behavioral finance, corporate finance, public finance.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching

• Full-time, part-time, and cooperative education to French and foreign students
• 128 teaching hours per year with the possibility of additional hours

Research

• Active participation in research activities as a member of one of the two research centers, HuManiS or LaRGE
• Bonuses for academic publications (articles/books)

Other paid activities

• Supervision of interns
• Participation in admission boards
• Pedagogical or administrative responsibilities
• Specific responsibilities/projects assigned by School administration

YOUR PROFILE

Basic requirements:

• PhD in management science (dissertation must be defended before Jun. 30, 2022, and any defense pre-reports must be provided at the interview)
• Ability to teach in French and English
• High potential for publication in national and international academic journals
• Willingness to coordinate full-time or part-time degrees/specializations, such as a master’s degree, MBA, or equivalent, offered by the School

Assets:

• Interest in innovative teaching methods
• Ability to teach in a third language
• Expertise in accounting/control/corporate finance, marketing/digital marketing/sales, supply chain management/purchasing, management/human resources, or strategy/entrepreneurship/project management
