The International Private University College Bad Vöslau (ongoing accrediation procedure) is looking to fill a vacancy for the following positions:

• Programme director of the HR-Management & Communication Bachelor degree programme
• (Research) Professor of the Int. Hospitality & Business Management Bachelor degree programme
• (Research) Professor of the HR-Management & communication Bachelor degree programme
• Research associates in both study programmes

All positions are available either as part time (20h) or full time (40h) position.

This institution is currently in the process for initial institutional accrediation.

The planned start is October 2024.

A possible employment possible from July / August 2024.

Your tasks as a professor:

• Establishment and preparation of the first implementation of the study programme
• Independent realisation of courses and research projects
• Management of the research centre
• Organisation of teaching and research within the degree programme
• Participation in the quality management steering group and responsibility for the implementation of quality assurance measures in teaching and research
• Supervision of scientific theses
• Collaboration and committee work in the development and expansion of the private university college Bad Vöslau
• Communication and networking with the scientfic community, the field of practice and the public

Other tasks for programme directors and research associates!

Your qualifications:

• Completed relevant university degree (doctorate or comparable)
• Habilitation or equivalent qualification in the respective subject area
• Several years of professional experience and/or teaching experience in the field of Hospitality Management and/or Business Administration or in comparable fields
• Excellent written and spoken English – Level C1 (company language)
• Very good written and spoken German skills desirable
• Experience in the field of communication sciences desirable
• Didactic aptitude and teaching experience in higher education, in particular using current and innovative higher education didactic concepts
• Personal involvement in the relevant national and international scientific community desirable
• Proof of publications or other scientific contributions
